Miracles?

Yup. They are really true. Our God does love. Yesterday my whole family (well xpt me) went down to the peir to hang out. They were there for a while and right before they were leaving, my little brother spotted something in the water. As he pulled out wut was caught in a Vana at the bottom of the ocean floor, he realized it was MONEY!!!!!!!!!!! but thats not all. It was a HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL. Hes 12! lol So that was all exciting. Guess they all decided to dive in and look for some as well.. they found more tens and several fives... around 130 in all i think. That was super exxciting to hear! I should have gone with them lol but I am more than thrilled to hear how the Lord blessed his people are random times.

Today, I looked really cute for church. My outfit cost me under fifteen dollars and my makeup was light and natural. I topped that off with a bright blue bag-gotta have contrast in my life. After church, we had to break into steff's house because we didn't have the key. After we broke in, we all just chilled than headed to the beach to relax.

funerals in hawaii!

Yesterday, I attended a Hawaiian funeral. I cant deny, this was a beautiful ceremony. I have only been to one other funeral, one that represented sorrow and grief, this one however was and surprisingly joyous. It was a celebration of life rather than morning of death.
On top of the difference in atmosphere of this funeral, there were many traditional and cultural performances. There were Samoan chants and singing, and families shared happy and loving memories, poems and stories. Overall this experience was almost overwhelming due to the love everyone had for one another. I am honored to have attended the celebrating a life of such and amazing man as Palei. Afterward we all had a Samoan/Hawaiian mean. Im not going to lie-I have eaten better. However, the sweets were delicious.

FLOWERS!!!!

There are so many beautiful flowers and other plants here on the island. i dont even have couple of them. each flower has different colors, and sooo many different shades! love them all. my mom always calls me a hick cuz i always have a new flower behind my ear or in my ponytail. makes me laugh.

Im a little behind, so i have some catching up to do.

On wednesday, we went down to magics after steffs long day of school. Boy, were the sets amazing or wut! steff and i werre the only two girls in the water, and the waves were at least ten feet high! all the older local guys were tellin us that we were better than the guys with boards. one of the huge waves hit and one of the turists lost control of his board and it tangle around my leg and pulled me with it with the after wave. my legs all bruised now and i can hardley touch it. it didnt really bother me at the moment so i just kept riding the waves.

yesterday was a crazy day tho. i got up on the wrong side of the bed, as they say. i needed to get some document to the college and i couldnt find them ANYWERE!!! i was freeking out! turns out- they were in my purse the whole time. on the way to the college, my dad and i stopped to help two girls who locked thier keys in their car. that took like half hour to open, but it was pretty rewarding. the girls were really nice. after we got back from there, i obviously stayed at steffs. after we got super bored so we checked out a local beach we havnt been to yet. nice beach, actually. we were climbing some rock wall and of coarse i slipped. busted up my already busted knee. ahah it started gushing blood and i dont noe why but we both found it extreemly funny. got some cute piks in.

today, on the other hand, was extreamly mellow. i stayed home and cleaned the house spotless. steffs n sabs came over after school cuz their mom was working. we didnt do anything at all. when the parents all came home, including steffs mom, we all decided to head over to the city. parents played some tennis and steff and i headed over to walmart to get junk food! we piged out and now were getting into the bed. day is finally over! boy am i tired!

Yesterday, Sunday, all of us kids didnt really have anything to do. After church we all went down to magics, and by we all i mean a whole bunch of families. After we got bored of the gloomy weather several of the ''older'' kids took off to steffs. Nothing to do their either. After we got to my house n ate and did what ever all of us did, we decided to play some soccer! We devided the teams pretty evenly, around five on each. We made our goals out of anything we can find: a chair and mop sticks mostly. It was fun, us girls were just enjoying ourselfs while the boys took the game to a new level. But in the end, several of us did get hurt so the girls dipped. It was fun watching the boys compete even against thier own team-mates. The end conclusion we all settled down to some Russian food and MONSTERS VS. ALIENS. Overall the turn around was great.

sooo yesterday, steff n i finally REDIED her hair-and this time it actually worked. its super super hot. we left her old hair color in some areas and the streaks turned out super hot! i was shocked at how good i did! ahaha of coarse i tried to fix my eyebrows from last time into a darker color. yahhh that looked pretty funny too.... not like i was hoping at all! im still trying to wash the dye out.

but now her hair is bomb-dizzle with awsome streaks! im actually really jealous ahaha
